Appropriate riding gear is required for participation in the range exercises. You will need bring the following riding gear to be able to participate in any and all motorcycle interaction.
- DOT approved helmet
- Full fingered gloves
- Boots that COVER THE ANKLE FULLY. Running shoes, loafers, moccasins and similar footwear is NOT permitted. Please make sure your footwear is at least 2″ above the small round bones on either side of your ankle.
- Long sleeve shirt or jacket
- Ankle length non-flare pants without holes. Nylon, spandex, and sweatpants are NOT permitted.
- Eye protection if your helmet does not have a face shield ( prescription glasses or sunglasses are sufficient)
This gear is mandatory by rules set forth from Ride Alive Motorcycle Academy LLC, Motorcycle Safety Foundation and Wisconsin Motorcycle Safety Program. You cannot participate in any range exercises without the required safety gear. If your skin is exposed, you will be not be allowed to participate in the course and may be subject to a Reschedule Fee.
