Important Course Information

Basic Rider Course/  (BRC) Get your license course

We offer classes that can be completed in 5 weeknights (Monday-Friday 5:30pm - 9:00pm),  2day weekend (Saturday & Sunday 8am - 5pm) or a 3 day weekend ( Friday 6:00pm - 9:00pm Saturday 8am - 5pm and Sunday 8am - 2:30pm). The Basic Rider Course covers the fundamentals for developing safe and responsible motorcycle riding skills. Classroom sessions will coach ways to minimize risk as well as handle specific riding situations. Range sessions will initially coach you on motor skills and control, including: straight line riding, stopping, turning, and shifting. You then move on to the more advanced skills of stopping quickly, cornering and swerving. Our smaller classes focus more to one on one attention and give more riding time and less waiting. This course does qualify for the DMV skills test waiver. Upon successful completion you will receive a waiver form to waive the road test test portion of the licensing procedure. You still must pass the permit test at the DMV however, which can be done before or after completion of the BRC.

Basic Rider Course (BRC) Fees

Course Fees are $340 per student. (Discounts are available for multiple bookings for the same session but CANNOT be used in conjunction with any sales or promotion pricing. Gift certificates are also available.) You do not need to have your own motorcycle for this course as we provide motorcycles for you or if you wish, you may use your cycle (with proof of insurance and a safety inspection by the rider coach).
